Collection Drives

People Need People.

We host regular blood drives and food drives at Ackerman SFC. Appointments are recommended for the blood drives, but walk-ins are welcome. For the food drive, simply drop off your non-perishable food items and toiletries to benefit Glen House Food Pantry.

Glen House Food Pantry Donations
Commonly needed items include peanut butter, jelly, rice (white or brown), pasta, canned tuna, tomato products (sauce and paste), canned vegetables and fruit, applesauce, granola bars, cookies, baking supplies (flour, cooking oil, sugar), dried and canned beans, Spaghettio’s, canned soup, coffee (regular and instant), tea (black and green), cold cereal, condiments (ketchup, mustard, relish, mayonnaise), macaroni and cheese, and toiletries (dish soap, bar soap, diapers, baby wipes, toilet paper, laundry detergent, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo). The Pantry also posts a list of urgently needed items (typically on Fridays) on their website.

Blood Donations
Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. Registered donors will receive information via email from Versiti. Donors must be 17 years or older to donate (16 years old with parent permission slip). Safe social distancing measures will be in place to ensure donor safety.
