Glen Ellyn Park District Autumn Registration Starts July 29 for Residents

The Glen Ellyn Park District begins registering for autumn programs on Sunday, July 29 at 10pm. The Autumn Activity Guide was delivered to all residents and is also available online at gepark.org/activity-guide. The guide details hundreds of classes, events, fitness memberships, and platform tennis available throughout the fall. This autumn there are many new programs and events available including:

  • Pupcorn and a Movie – Enjoy a free showing of the comedy classic Beethoven with your pup on Friday, Sept. 14 at Spring Avenue Dog Park.
  • Dave’s Traveling World of Reptiles – Learn about reptiles on your school day off! Runs on Monday, Oct. 8.
  • Free Adult Pickleball Clinic – Check out the outdoor courts at Village Green Park while learning the game of pickleball on Saturday, Sept. 22.
  • Latin Dance Lessons – Available at the Spring Avenue Recreation Center.
  • Youth & Adult Dodgeball Leagues – Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge in these new leagues at Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center.
  • Sip & Sew – Learn to sew or refresh your skills while sipping on your favorite beverage in these September classes for ages 21+.
  • Hand Lettering for Kids & Adults – Learn the art of brush lettering in these workshops at Spring Avenue Recreation Center.
  • MasterMoms Talk Series – We’ve partnered with Glen Ellyn Moms Village to offer fun-filled evening talks at the Boathouse…just for moms!
  • Day Trips – There are 10 trips planned this fall. See pages 56-57 of the Activity Guide.
  • Native Tree & Shrub Sale – Add a native species to your yard. Orders are accepted until Sept. 21. Visit gepark.org/shrub-sale for details.
