Glen Ellyn Park District Installs Newly Elected Commissioners and Officers

The Glen Ellyn Park District Board of Commissioners installed its new and incumbent members at the May 21 regular meeting. Newly elected member Paul Bischoff Jr. was sworn in, alongside incumbents Ben Stortz and Kathy Cornell, to a four-year term through April 2023.

The board elected officers to one-year terms: Michael Ward, President; Alex Durham, Vice President; and Julia Nephew, Treasurer. Commissioners also appointed Dave Harris as Executive Director and Western DuPage Special Recreation Representative; Kimberly Dikker as Board Secretary; and Ancel Glink as its law firm.

At the April 16 meeting, the board recognized and thanked outgoing commissioner Chris Wilson for her “years of service, commitment and accomplishments with the Glen Ellyn Park District” during her four years of service on the park board.

The Glen Ellyn Park District would like to extend our appreciation to candidates Chris Wilson and Jeff West for their time and effort in running for the Board of Commissioners.
