If metrics allow, Illinois regions can move out of Tier 3 mitigations on January 15

Posted on: January 7, 2021

On Wednesday, January 6, Governor Pritzker announced that beginning Friday, January 15, regions that satisfy the metrics for doing so may move out of Tier 3 mitigations. While positive news, as a result of this announcement, several programs scheduled to take place in-person from January 9 through January 14 will be postponed, rescheduled, or held virtually. Participants will be contacted directly via phone or email regarding the status of their program.

The following programs are allowed in their current format under Tier 3 guidelines and will run as scheduled:

  • Ackerman Arts & Crafts To Go
  • 1:1, partner, or virtual personal training
  • Private lessons (dance, gymnastics, piano, athletics)
  • Platform Tennis lessons, classes, and leagues
  • Wintertime Nature Hike
  • Preschool Nature Outing
  • Restoration Workday

As always, thank you for your ongoing patience, support, and flexibility as we navigate this pandemic together. Please watch for an additional update on our website and social media pages next week.
