Upcoming Blood Drives

People Need People. Give Blood.

Be a beacon of hope! Help ensure a healthy blood supply in Illinois by donating during blood drives at Ackerman SFC, 800 St. Charles Road. One donation can save up to three lives! The SARS CoV-2 antibody test will be performed on all successful donations.

Appointments are required (gray time slots are full). We kindly ask that you only reserve a time slot if you are sure you can attend as the number of donors we can accept at the drive is limited. Walk-ups will not be accepted under Tier 3 guidelines. Please bring a photo ID and face covering. Donors will receive information via email from Versiti. Open to ages 17 and up (age 16 w/parent permission slip).

SARS CoV-2 Antibody Test
The SARS CoV-2 antibody test will be performed on all successful donations. It will be done automatically on tubes that are collected as a normal part of the donation, in addition to other FDA mandated infectious disease testing. The test will inform donors if they have antibodies reflective of a prior COVID-19 infection and is not to inform donors if they currently have COVID-19.

Donor Safety
Safe social distancing measures will be in place to ensure donor safety. Keeping in compliance with our State’s ordinance, donors must bring and wear a face covering during the donation process.
