The 501c3 Partner of Glen Ellyn Park District
Founded in 2015, the Friends of Glen Ellyn Parks Foundation is the charitable arm of the Glen Ellyn Park District and raises funds for people, projects, and parks. Donations received enable the Foundation to achieve its mission of assisting the Glen Ellyn Park District in preserving open space, improving Park District assets, and funding scholarships to enrich the lives of people in our community.

Fundraising Events & More
Each year, the Foundation hosts events, raffles, and more to benefit the scholarship fund. The proceeds from these events support at-risk Glen Ellyn resident families by providing full or partial funding for recreational programs for those in need.

Mission
The Friends of Glen Ellyn Parks provide opportunities for the preservation of open space, the improvement of existing Park District assets, and the development of recreational resources including funding scholarship opportunities to enable all residents to participate in Park District programs regardless of economic situations.
Vision
To provide an opportunity for individuals and businesses to partner with the Glen Ellyn Park District through donations, fundraising, grants, planned giving, and community outreach.
