Adopt-A-Park Program

Play an Active Role in Beautifying Your Parks!

Get involved in your community in a way that supports the Glen Ellyn Park system! Glen Ellyn is fortunate to have many beautiful parks, natural areas, and open spaces. However, with these wonderful amenities comes the great responsibility of being good public lands stewards. We could use your help caring for our park spaces for everyone to enjoy.

Adoptions are great for any group who wants to have a positive and lasting impact on the environment. Service projects might include picking up litter, spreading mulch, pulling weeds, planting native wildflowers, and reporting vandalism.

Who Can Take Part?

People of all ages and walks of life can be an active part of the Adopt-A-Park program. The program is open to individuals, businesses, groups, and other community organizations.

How to Adopt a Park

To get started, fill out the Adopt-A-Park application and send it to Renae Frigo at rfrigo@gepark.org. After review, you will have a park assigned to your group and we will contact you to setup a time to meet.

Adopt-A-Park Time Commitment

It doesn’t take much to help keep our parks safe and beautiful! You and your group will visit your designated park three or four times per year. Your group also handles recruiting volunteers for these dates.
