Lacrosse is a sport that is as fun as it is challenging. Glen Ellyn Park District offers lacrosse leagues for girls throughout the spring and fall. In addition, camps are available during the summer to help keep your child’s head in the game. Lacrosse is available for girls in grades kindergarten through freshman and divided by grades to provide every girl an opportunity to learn and grow as a player.
The goals of the program are to teach the rules of lacrosse, active teamwork, sportsmanship, and to foster personal development in a respectful environment led by positive coaching. If you want to learn a sport that is completely unique, totally fun, and easy to pick up, choose lacrosse!
Spring League: April – June
Fall League: September – October
Practices are one day per week for 1.5 hours and games will be played on Sunday afternoons. Please check the Park District’s Activity Guide for season dates.
