Beat the Heat at Sunset Pool and the Splash Park this Summer!

Whether you’re slipping down waterslides, taking a plunge off diving boards, or getting soaked under water towers, nothing says summer like fun in the water! The Glen Ellyn Park District offers two facilities to explore this season: Sunset Pool and the Splash Park.

Sunset Pool

Address: 483 Fairview Avenue, Glen Ellyn
The outdoor, zero-depth pool features a sloping, beach-style entry that is perfect for parents with little ones. Younger children will enjoy the playground in the pool area as well as the sand play area. For older children (and adventurous adults), Sunset Pool offers diving boards and waterslides! The recreation building/bath house includes restrooms, showers and lockers. Snacks and other tasty bites are available for purchase at the concession stand.

The Glen Ellyn Park District offers summer pool memberships, affordable day passes (for residents and non-residents), and daily admission coupon books. Twilight deals are available to swimmers after 5pm.

Splash Park at Maryknoll Park

Address: 845 Pershing Avenue, Glen Ellyn, IL (Route 53 and Pershing Avenue)
Enjoy a spritz of fun this summer at the Splash Park located within Maryknoll Park in Glen Ellyn! Kids can get soaked by standing underneath the water tower and three different bell-shaped dunkers, attempt to navigate all the way through the water tunnel, or douse their buddies using two spray cannons.

Featuring 12 interactive spray pieces, the Splash Park is inexpensive family fun at just $3 per child (ages 1-14). Non-resident adult admission is $1 per person; resident adults are admitted free with proof of residency. Plan to stick around for the day. In addition to the Splash Park, Maryknoll Park features an adventure playground (complete with a free 75’ zipline), Holes & Knolls Mini Golf Course, and a tot playground. Ice cream and snacks are available in the Maryknoll Café.
