Volunteer

Volunteer with Us!

Volunteers are important. They are vital to the success of many of our programs and events. Without your help, it would be difficult to meet the needs of the community. Our volunteers donate their time and talents maintaining our natural areas, coaching youth sports, keeping runners on course, and making events like Boo Bash even more special for their family, friends, and neighbors.

Who Can Volunteer?

Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older, though the age may be higher for some opportunities. Youth younger than age 14 may volunteer with a caregiver or legal guardian. All prospective volunteers must complete a Volunteer Application. Some positions also a background check. The program supervisor will provide the application and extra details.

Coaching Youth Sports

A coach can have a monumental impact on a child just learning to play organized sports. We have a variety of different sports in need of volunteer coaches including basketball, baseball, softball, and soccer. Learn more by emailing Clint Babicz at cbabicz@gepark.org.
