Clay Tennis Courts

Play on Clay!

Clay courts offer a unique playing experience that every tennis enthusiast should try at least once. The slower ball bounce on clay courts, compared to other common court surfaces, grants players more time to focus on strategic planning and refine their technical skills. Additionally, the soft surface is gentler on the knees, ankles, and feet, reducing the risk of injuries.

Location & Hours

The clay tennis courts are located at Lake Ellyn Park, 645 Lenox Road, near the intersection of Essex and Grand. They’re open from dawn to dusk, from April 1 to November 1.
