We offer many unique and exciting programs each season designed specifically for adults and seniors. Whether you’re looking to meet new friends or pick up a hobby, we have just what you’re looking for. Adult and senior programs opportunities include everything from dance classes to educational workshops.

See what adventures the Glen Ellyn Park District had to offer!

We put together a wide variety of trips throughout the year, so you can take a fun trip to the city, try your luck at a casino, and much more. All you have to do is register and show up—we take care of everything else. Bring a group of friends or go solo! Registration is on a first come, first served basis.

Friday Night Bingo

For ages 55 and up
Let’s get together for bingo! Join us on Friday evenings from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center. Enjoy several rounds of bingo while socializing. Prizes will be awarded each night, including a grand prize at the end of the last game. This is a drop-in program; no registration is required. $1 per card. Senior Clubs

Catch up with friends or meet new friends from the community! The clubs below, for ages 60 and better, meet at Spring Avenue or Main Street Recreation Centers. Registration is required online or in-person to attend club meetings. For more information, please call (630) 942-7266.

Art club will allow you to find out where unique talents lie and explore new avenues of enrichment and expression. The club will be led by an experienced local artist. Register for Art Club meetings »

Are you an avid reader and enjoy discussing the books you read? Join us as we host our monthly book club. Books can be checked out at the Glen Ellyn Public Library. Register for Book Club meetings »

Gather with other card game enthusiasts to play your favorite games or learn new ones. All levels of card players are welcome. New games played each week with all card decks being provided. Register for Card Club meetings »

Play games, learn something new, or even test your knowledge at trivia. Each meeting focuses on a new theme based on the season. Snacks and treats are served. Register for Trivia & Social Club meetings »

Donuts and Bingo

Ages 55 and up
Play bingo at Main Street Recreation Center on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Visit with friends over coffee and donuts while playing everyone’s favorite game. Bingo will be free to play, and games will start at 10:30am. One bingo card per participant. Coffee, donuts, and bingo cards will be provided, and prizes will be awarded to winners. Offered in partnership with Glen Ellyn Public Library. This is a drop-in program; no registration is required.


Our leagues and tournaments offer opportunities for adults to compete against others in a safe, fun environment. We offer recreational and competitive levels of play, so that everyone from a multi-year vet to a rookie can play.
