The Glen Ellyn Park District’s Adventure Time program provides safe and reliable before/after school care for Kindergarten through 5th graders. Activities may include but are not limited to art projects, sports, games, outdoor play and homework time. Please note, children in kindergarten are welcome to enroll, but only for the AM session if they attend AM kindergarten or the PM session if they attend PM kindergarten.
Registration will be for the complete school year. Children may be signed up for 3, 4 or 5 days a week; mornings, afternoons or both! Parents, you may choose which days of the week you wish to use. A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to register. Deposits can be made online at www.gepark.org using the codes below. After your deposit has been processed, you will receive an email with instructions from the Program Supervisor on how to complete your registration.

2016-2017 Monthly Fees and Payment
This program is billed monthly via an Electronic Fund Transfer (Visa, MasterCard , AMEX or Discover Card) for nine months during the school year. Payments will be made on the 1st of each month, with the first month due September 1st and concluding with the last payment on May 1st.
The 2016-2017 school year monthly program fees are as follows:

Holidays, Institute Days and School Closures
Adventure Time will not meet on legal public holidays as determined by the District 41 school calendar or over Thanksgiving break, Christmas break or Spring break. This includes Labor Day, Columbus Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day and Memorial Day.
Early Dismissal & Teach Institute Days
On early dismissal days, children will be dismissed to the Adventure Time room. On teachers’ institute days Adventure Time will be operating at Forest Glen only (Churchill children should be dropped off at Forest Glen on these days) and will be available from 7am-6pm. Please provide a lunch. Special events and activities are planned on SIP and Teacher Institute days, more information will be provided in each month’s newsletter.
If the school site is closed for weather or unexpected circumstances such as loss of power or lack of water, Adventure Time is unable to operate. Please listen to AM stations WGN (720), WMAQ (670), WBBM (780), WLS (890) or even local TV stations for closures. You may also check the www.wgnonline.com to see if a school has been closed.
