Planned Outage for Online Registration System Beginning at 8 pm on Monday, July 29

To enhance the quality and performance of its services, the District’s online registration system provider, ACTIVENet, will be performing routine maintenance on Monday, July 29 beginning at 8 pm. During this time, the system will not be available for online registration. The estimated time to complete the updates is approximately 10 hours. We appreciate your patience and thank you for your understanding.

Glen Ellyn Parks Foundation Gator Race

Join the Glen Ellyn Parks Foundation for their inaugural Gator Race on Thursday, August 22 at 5 pm at Sunset Pool. “Adopt” a gator (similar to rubber ducks) for your chance to win great prizes including pool passes for 2025 and gift certificates! Family Fun in the Neighborhood (Rain or Shine!)

The Family Fun in the Neighborhood event is on for Tuesday, July 9th, 2024, from 5 to 7 pm! We’re keeping an eye on the weather and may move some activities indoors to the Maryknoll Clubhouse if it rains. This includes face painting, crafts, and the balloon artist. Mr. Scott’s Giant Bubble Show will still be held outdoors in a tent near the Clubhouse. Please check the hotline for any further updates.

Request for Proposals: Sunset Pool Mural Project

The Glen Ellyn Park District is accepting proposals for a public art project: an exterior mural for the Gators Swim Team office building at Sunset Pool, facing the new children’s wading pool. Kids, Get Ready for a Rainbow of Fun at the 2K Kids Color Bash Run!

Calling all young runners! The fun and colorful 2K Kids Color Bash Run is back at Ackerman Park on Saturday, August 10, from 9am to 11 am. Get ready to dash through color stations along the 1.25-mile course and get showered in vibrant powder! A DJ will keep the party pumping with an after-race dance celebration and a color packet throw. Important Information: Lake Foxcroft Dredging Project

To improve water quality, we’ve begun dredging the shoreline of Lake Foxcroft. This approximately two-week project removes excess sediment, a source of nutrients that contribute to algae blooms.
