The Glen Ellyn Park District is accepting proposals for a public art project: an exterior mural for the Gators Swim Team office building at Sunset Pool, facing the new children’s wading pool. Calling all young runners! The fun and colorful 2K Kids Color Bash Run is back at Ackerman Park on Saturday, August 10, from 9am to 11 am. Get ready to dash through color stations along the 1.25-mile course and get showered in vibrant powder! A DJ will keep the party pumping with an after-race dance celebration and a color packet throw.
