Glen Ellyn Park District Scholarship Program

Everyone in our community should have access to Park District activities. And when it comes to kids and families registering for programs, money should not be a barrier. Because some residents are unable to participate due to financial hardship, we are proud to offer a scholarship program.

Scholarships assist low-income residents by providing full or partial funding for recreational and athletic programs. The program serves a wide range of individual and family needs.

Unfortunately, funds are sometimes limited. By donating to the scholarship program, you help enrich the lives of your neighbors in need. Your support may help a child attend camp, a senior stay healthy, a teen play travel soccer, and more. Help support the program by making a donation today.

Friends of Glen Ellyn Parks Foundation

The Friends of Glen Ellyn Parks is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Friends was established to receive charitable gifts and donations for the benefit of programs and facilities operated by the Glen Ellyn Park District.

Request Donations from the Park District

At the Glen Ellyn Park District, we value our community and are happy to donate passes to our facilities to non-profit organizations and fundraising events. Please submit your request for a donation at least three weeks before your event using the form below. We will respond to your request within two weeks of submission.

Who qualifies?

  • Non-profit organizations located within the Glen Ellyn Park District boundaries that are hosting fundraising events.
  • Groups, individuals, or local governmental agencies hosting benefits/fundraising events within the Glen Ellyn Park District boundaries.
  • Schools located within the Glen Ellyn Park District boundaries, for functions, fundraisers, or incentives.

If your request is approved, you can pick up the donations at the Spring Avenue Recreation Center, located at 185 Spring Avenue, Glen Ellyn. You will receive a notice from the District when the donations are available for pickup.
