Definition of Residency

Anyone living within the geographic boundaries of the Glen Ellyn Park District is considered a resident. Residents contribute financially to the operation of the park system through property taxes. To compensate for the property tax disparity, the District charges nonresidents a higher fee for programs. To view our boundary map, click here.

Cancellations, Refunds

We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or combine classes, or change instructors. The District will send a notification 7 days in advance and refund full tuition if low enrollment leads to class cancellation. Withdrawals before the start of a class will be subject to a service charge of at least $5.00. Refunds for moving, injury/illness, or schedule changes will be prorated based on the date of the refund request. Some programs may have separate refund policies.

Financial Aid

As some residents may face financial hardship that prevents them from participating in District programs, we are proud to offer a scholarship program. For more information, email [email protected] or call (630) 858-2462. You can also view our scholarship program page here

Individuals with Disabilities

The District aims to provide recreation in the most inclusive setting possible. If you or a family member has a disability and wishes to participate in Glen Ellyn Park District programs, we will assist in facilitating that opportunity. Call (630) 858-2462 for more information.
