Maryknoll Park is located at 845 Pershing Avenue, just south of Route 38 and east of Route 53. It encompasses nearly 25 acres and features a splash park, two playgrounds, miniature golf course, bocce ball courts, a horseshoe pit, a cornhole game (bring your own bean bags), a public shelter, a picnic pavilion and party tent than can be rented for private events, a 9-hole disc golf course, and plenty of parking.
Holes & Knolls Mini Golf
Winding slopes, streams, bridges, and tunnels add to the challenge at Holes & Knolls Miniature Golf. The blue course contains 18 holes of lengthy, flat slopes – easily accessible by strollers and wheel chairs. The red course is decorated with tree and frog obstacles, imitation sand and rough patches, a figure-8, and even a hole carved through a waterfall! Golfers often cool down with slushies, soft drinks or other favorites (ice cream!) from the Maryknoll Café, located just inside the Clubhouse. For hours and rates, visit www.HolesAndKnolls.com.
Splash Park
Kids can get soaked by standing underneath the water tower and three different bell-shaped dunkers, attempt to navigate all the way through the water tunnel, or douse their buddies using two spray cannons. Featuring 12 interactive spray pieces, the Splash Park is inexpensive family fun at just $3 per child (ages 1-14). Non-resident adult admission is $1 per person; resident adults are admitted free with proof of residency. Youth coupon books are also available (for residents only). For hours, visit www.gepark.org/splash.
Adventure & Youth Playgrounds
Maryknoll Park is home to both an Adventure Playground and Youth Playground. The Adventure Playground boasts a FREE 75′ zipline, 2-person swing, and a 25′ climbing feature. The Youth Playground has a tree house, swings, and a sandbox with water features.
Disc Golf Course
Disc golf is played much like traditional golf. Instead of a ball and clubs, however, players use a flying disc! Maryknoll Park features a 9-hole course where you can bring your own disc or rent one in the Maryknoll Clubhouse (during Mini Golf hours) for just $3.
Bocce Ball, Cornhole, and More
Visitors to the park can also play bocce ball, horse shoes, cornhole (bring your own bean bags), and Platform Tennis (membership required). The park also features a large open play area, nature ponds, public restrooms, and a public shelter. A party tent and picnic pavilion are available to rent in the summer months. Please note, there are no parties allowed in the public shelter.
