Parking Alert at Ackerman Park & Ackerman SFC

The main parking lot that serves Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center and upper Ackerman Park soccer fields is currently under construction and nearing completion in mid-September. When visiting Ackerman Park, particularly Saturday mornings during fall soccer season, please allow enough time to safely park and walk to the fields and building. Parkview Church is allowing parking for Park District participants and is a convenient alternative. Additionally, entering the park from the east entrance off St. Charles Road could be less congestive. Please refer to the parking map below. As the much-needed improvements are made, your patience and cooperation are appreciated.
