Registration for Cyclones Volleyball League open

The Glen Ellyn Park District is gearing up for another youth volleyball season! Registration is open for the Cyclones Volleyball League through February 26, 2020, at gepark.org/register. Third through sixth graders are eligible to join.

Teams will practice for 1 hour on Mondays from March 9 to May 11 at Churchill School. Games, played at Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center, begin April 7 and wind up on May 12. The league will end with a postseason tournament. Youth who play volleyball regularly get valuable exercise, and develop improved hand-eye coordination, agility, speed, and balance.

Cost for one player is $130 for Glen Ellyn Park District residents and $180 for nonresidents.

Teams are co-ed and formed by the Park District. Practices are led by professional coaches from the Cyclones Volleyball Club, along with assistance from volunteer parent coaches. Email Christine Hartnett at [email protected] if you are interested in volunteering to coach.
