Glen Ellyn Park District, Jewel-Osco Pharmacy, and State Representative Terra Costa Howard are hosting a joint vaccine clinic on Saturday, November 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m at Ackerman SFC, 800 St. Charles Road.

The brand new Covid-19 vaccine bivalent booster shots, flu shots, and pneumonia, tetanus, and shingles vaccines will be available. Walk-ups will be accepted but are subject to availability. Those that have registered in advance will be prioritized.

Covid-19 Vaccine Booster Shots

To get your Covid-19 vaccine booster shot, you’ll need to bring a copy of your CDC Vaccination Card or other proof that you completed your vaccinations at least 2 months ago for Pfizer, Moderna, and Janssen. You’ll also need your drivers license or state ID, as well as your health insurance information.

Individuals must be 12 years of age or older for a bivalent Covid vaccine booster. The new bivalent Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available; only Pfizer will be administered for ages 12-17 as Moderna is for those 18 years of age and older.

Flu Shots

There will be a charge for flu shots, but you will not have to pay anything out-of-pocket if you are covered by Medicare or a PPO insurance plan. Flu shots are available for individuals 3 years of age or older. Minors require a parent or guardian signature. Pneumonia/Tetanus/Shingles

All of these vaccines will be available as well. You will not have to pay anything out-of-pocket if you are covered by Medicare or a PPO insurance plan
