CANCELED: 2k Glow Run/Walk

March 17, 2025 Update: We regret to announce that the 2K Glow Run/Walk scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at Ackerman Park has been canceled due to low enrollment. Calling all glow-getters, fitness fanatics, and fun-seekers! The 2k Glow Run/Walk returns to Ackerman Park on Saturday, April 5, from 7-9 pm. Get ready for a night of dazzling colors, energetic music, and unforgettable memories.

This family-friendly 1.25-mile nighttime fun run is more than just a race. Participants will weave through light-up color stations and enjoy a glow party, complete with a live DJ, before and after the run/walk.

Open to participants aged 4 and up, the event encourages everyone to walk or run at their own pace. It’s a non-competitive opportunity to enjoy a fun evening with friends and family. Registration includes entry to the run/walk, an event t-shirt, glow sticks, and access to the full glow party experience.

Glen Ellyn Park District residents can register for $30, and nonresidents for $42. Registration closes on Friday, March 28. Secure your spot at gepark.org/register.
