08/13/20: Power Restored to Spring Avenue Recreation Center

Power was restored to Spring Avenue Recreation Center at ~6pm on Thursday, August 13. The facility will reopen for normal hours on Friday, August 14. Following Monday’s storm, the District conducted an immediate assessment of all Park District property including facilities, parks, and athletic fields. While experiencing downed trees, fallen limbs and other debris, the District fortunately did not incur any significant damage. Cleanup will take several days and will be prioritized based on safety. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
