Consider running for a seat on the Glen Ellyn Park District Board of Commissioners in the April 6, 2021 Consolidated General Election.

Four (four-year term) positions on the Glen Ellyn Park District Board of Commissioners will be up for election on April 6, 2021.  For those interested in running for a Board position, potential candidates can pick up an election information packet, including petitions and other necessary forms at the Spring Avenue Recreation Center, 185 Spring Avenue, Glen Ellyn.  The packets are available Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Those who wish to run for Park Board Commissioner must be a Glen Ellyn Park District resident for at least one year prior to the election.

Potential candidates may begin circulating petitions on Tuesday, September 22, 2020.  The official filing dates are Monday, December 14 through Monday, December 21, 2020. Petitions will be accepted Monday, December 14 – Friday, December 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Monday, December 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Spring Avenue Recreation Center.
