Start your July 4th holiday at the Freedom Four 4-Mile Run/Walk. A portion of the proceeds from this family-friendly event will go to the Glen Ellyn Parks Foundation’s Scholarship Fund, which allows families in need access to recreation and athletic programs for little to no cost. The race kicks off at 7:30 am “sharp”. Awards are presented to the top two male and female finishers in each age division around 8:30 am. Freedom Four t-shirts are guaranteed to those that register by the early bird deadline. Participants registering during regular registration or on the day of the race will receive a t-shirt while supplies last.

Registration is available until the start of the race.
Packet Pick-up: Participants registered prior to July 2 can pick up their race packets at Ackerman SFC on June 30-July 1. Participants registered after July 2 can pick up their packets from 6:30-7:30 am on Thursday, July 4 at Lake Ellyn Park.
Day-of-Race Parking: Participants are encouraged to walk, bike or carpool to the Freedom Four 4-Mile Run/Walk, as parking may be limited or unavailable on Lenox or the roads surrounding Lake Ellyn Park on race morning due to the holiday. Limited parking will be available in the Glenbard West parking lot across from Duchon Field for Freedom Four 4-Mile Run/Walk participants. All cars must be removed from this lot by 10 am.
