OAKtoberfest at Maryknoll Park Celebrates Illinois Oaks with Music, Games, and Family Fun

Celebrate the majestic oak tree on Saturday, October 4, from 1-4 pm at Maryknoll Park! This family-friendly event offers something for everyone to enjoy. Dance along to live music by The Fall Guys, snack on donuts and cider, or follow a StoryWalk® to a restored oak savanna. Get creative with arts and crafts, making leaf crowns and acorn talismans, have your face painted, explore a tree treasure hunt, or tackle an obstacle course.

Keep the fun going with games like “a-corn hole,” try your hand at platform tennis, or join a collaborative art project with Liita Forsyth. Adults 21+ can purchase and enjoy Two Hound Red’s OAKtoberfest beer.

Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
