The first phase of construction that has taken place on the south side of the parking lot has been completed and will be open Friday, July 28th. Phase two will begin shortly after the first phase has been completed and includes the renovation of the north side of the parking lot, a new paved walkway leading from the parking lot to the Dog Park, and new entrance and exit Dog Park gates. Phase two should take approximately two (2) weeks to complete.

Walkways and entrances into the building may be subject to change during the construction process. Wayfinding signage will be posted to direct patrons into the building/park.

Prior to phase two of the renovation, information will be sent out to the Dog Park members as to how to enter and exit the Dog Park. The Dog Park is anticipated to be open the entire time during phase two, but the entrance and exit gates will be temporarily moved to the south side of the Spring Avenue Recreation Center. Informational and wayfinding signage will be posted and the District will make a concerted effort to minimize any closure as well as provide plenty of advanced notification.
