We offer a variety of unique and engaging programs each season designed specifically for adults, active older adults, and seniors. Whether you’re looking to socialize or explore a new interest, we have something for you. Our programs range from dance classes to educational workshops, helping you stay active, learn new skills, and everything in between!

Trips
See what adventures the Glen Ellyn Park District has to offer!
We put together a wide variety of trips throughout the year: take a fun city break, experience the thrill of a casino visit, and much more! All you have to do is register and show up – we take care of all the details. Bring a group of friends or go solo! Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Donuts and Bingo
Ages 55 and up
Enjoy bingo, coffee, and donuts at the Main Street Recreation Center on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Games are from 10:30 to 11:30 am. One bingo card per participant is provided. Coffee, donuts, and bingo cards are free, and prizes will be awarded to the winners. This free, drop-in program is offered in partnership with Glen Ellyn Public Library.
Friday Night Bingo
For ages 55 and up
Let’s get together for bingo! Join us on the first Friday of every month from 6 pm to 8 pm at Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center. Play several rounds of bingo for a chance to win gift cards, candy, home décor, and a grand prize for the final game. No registration required. $1 per card. Ageless Grace
For ages 50 and up
Improve cognitive and physical health functions in this free drop-in program every Tuesday at 10-10:45 am at the Main Street Recreation Center. The class focuses on activating all five functions of the brain: strategic planning, memory/recall, analytical thinking, creativity, and kinesthetic learning. Senior Clubs

AMERICAN MAH-JONGG
Join the club every Friday between 10 am and 1 pm as you play this popular tile-based game. A basic understanding of the game is recommended before joining. Free.
BOUND TO READ BOOK CLUB
Are you an avid reader who loves discussing books? Join our book club, which meets on the third Monday of each month from 10 to 11 am. Snacks will be provided. Books can be checked out from the Glen Ellyn Public Library. Free.
FISHING CLUB
Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a novice, our club is a relaxed and friendly space for seniors to connect, unwind, and enjoy fishing together. Join us every third Wednesday from June to August, 2024, from 10 am to 12 pm at Lake Ellyn Park. Bait will be provided; bring your own fishing pole. Free.
POKER PLUS CLUB
Join us for poker and other favorite games on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from September through June, between 2 and 4 pm. All experience levels are welcome. Card decks and chips are provided. Free.
TRIVIA & SOCIAL CLUB
Our trivia and social club meets on the third Thursday of every month from 11 am to 12 pm. Join us to play a game, learn something new, and test your knowledge with themed trivia. Snacks and treats are served. Free.
Athletics
Our leagues and tournaments offer opportunities for adults to compete against others in a safe and fun environment. We cater to both recreational and competitive levels of play, ensuring everyone, from the seasoned athlete to the rookie, can participate.
