The Commemorative Tree and Bench program allows you to beautify our parks while establishing a memorial or celebrating a special occasion. Purchasing a tree or bench is a wonderful way to leave a lasting tribute.

Applications for trees and benches are accepted throughout the year, with tree plantings scheduled for the spring or fall seasons only. You can also choose to commemorate an existing tree or bench, subject to availability.

• Deadline for spring tree plantings: April 30
• Deadline for fall tree plantings: September 30

Our staff will assist you with tree selection and placement during the application process. Available locations are limited, and a map will be provided for your reference. Final placement remains at the Parks Department’s discretion. Once a location is approved, payment is due at the Spring Avenue Recreation Center.
