August 16, 2024 Renovations are complete for the historic clay tennis courts, located on the western edge of Lake Ellyn Park! Originally built in 1924, these courts are a favorite among clay tennis enthusiasts. With fresh clay surfacing, new lines and nets, an upgraded irrigation system, and a new enclosed fence, the courts welcomed players back on Friday, August 16!

We’re waiving the membership fee for the rest of the season! Just visit the Spring Avenue Recreation Center to process your membership and pick up a key. The courts will be open until November 1, 2024, when they will close for the winter.

Due to the installation of HVAC units, access to the Spring Avenue Recreation Center and Dog Park will be unavailable from 6 am to 1 pm on Tuesday, August 27.
