Volunteers are essential to us. They play a vital role in the success of our programs and events. Without your help, it would be challenging to meet the needs of our community. Our volunteers generously donate their time and skills to:
- Maintain our natural areas
- Coach youth sports
- Guide runners
- Make events like Boo Bash even more special
Who Can Volunteer?
Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older, although age requirements may vary by program. Youth under 14 can volunteer with a parent or legal guardian. To get started, all prospective volunteers must complete a Volunteer Application. Some positions may also require a background check. The program supervisor will provide the application and additional details.

Adopt-A-Park & Restoration Workdays
Join us in beautifying Glen Ellyn! Through our Adopt-A-Park and Restoration Workday programs, residents and businesses can contribute to the care and maintenance of our parks and natural areas.
Special Events

Coaching Youth Sports
Coaches have a profound impact on children learning to play organized sports. We have various sports in need of volunteer coaches, including basketball, baseball, softball, and soccer. To learn more, email Clint Babicz at [email protected].
