Spring Avenue Dog Park

The Spring Avenue Dog Park is an off-leash dog park that is open seven days a week from sunrise to sunset. Fully enclosed for your dog’s safety, the park is a great place for dogs and their owners to exercise and socialize. The Spring Avenue Dog Park features a large open play area, swipe card entry for security, disposal bags and receptacles, picnic tables, benches and free parking.


Visiting the Dog Park

A permit is required for all dogs visiting the park. To obtain a permit and become a dog park member, owners must complete a permit application and pay a small yearly membership fee. Permits are issued only at the Spring Avenue Recreation Center during regular business hours. Learn More »

Report a Complaint

The Spring Avenue Dog Park is a self-policing dog park. If you are concerned that someone is not following the posted rules and they or their dog are presenting a problem for others (even after receiving considerate requests from others to comply) please contact the Park District to make a report or local authorities if an emergency situation should occur (e.g. dog bites).

The following information should be obtained and included in your report:

  • Date and time of Incident
  • Dog Information: breed, color, sex, name
  • Owner information
  • Witness information
  • Incident details
