Spring Avenue Dog Park


Dog Park membership renewals can be submitted via email, fax, or US Postal Service during the closure of the Spring Avenue Recreation Center. Please send your proof of rabies vaccination and be sure to include your current Dog Park membership card number on your renewal form. This number can be found on the white swipe card that was provided when your membership was first purchased. The number should appear as such:  XSF(01)69:48911 (example). Renewal applications were sent to members via email.

While Dog Park members are encouraged to use the facility, it is imperative that all patrons adhere to the “COVID-19 etiquette” including social distancing. Those expectations are posted on the fence near the entrance gate.

About the Dog Park

Fully enclosed for your dog’s safety, the park is a great place for dogs and their owners to exercise and socialize. The Spring Avenue Dog Park features a large open play area, swipe card entry for security, disposal bags and receptacles, picnic tables, benches and free parking.

Visit the Dog Park & Park Hours

A permit is required for each dog visiting the dog park and must be displayed at all times when visiting the Spring Avenue Dog Park. The park is open seven days a week from sunrise to sunset.

Permit Fees & How to Purchase

Permits are issued only at the Spring Avenue Recreation Center during regular business hours. To receive a permit, a dog owner must provide:

  • Proof of Residency (acceptable forms include a current driver’s license, tax statement or utility bill)
  • Paper Copy of Rabies Vaccination (Not Tags)
  • Completed Permit Application & Waiver
  • Payment in Full (acceptable forms include cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Discover)
