Early Childhood Autumn Athletic Programs

All Star Sports: 

Basketball (Ages 3-10):
This program will introduce your children to the game of basketball, whether they are beginners or they need the know-how to get to the next level. Basic skills of dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense will be taught. Games will be played to show the importance of teamwork. Basketball (II) & (III) are a continuation of Basketball. Golf (Ages 4-7):
We introduce boys and girls to golf through a number of fun drills and games that help them learn the complicated golf swing, rules and proper etiquette. Golf clubs provided (may bring your own clubs.)  View the schedule.

Floor Hockey (Ages 4-7):
Learn and play the fastest game in the world. This action-packed class emphasizes the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, passing, shooting, and stick handling before the skates go on. Equipment: Bike helmet & gloves. Shin, knee & elbow pads optional. View the schedule.

Parent/Tot (Ages 2-3):
This program gives you and your child the opportunity to bond and have fun together while learning a variety of sports. This class is great for developing simple motor skills, including catching, throwing, batting, shooting, passing, and anything that involves hand-eye coordination. Parents participate with their child as we play soccer, basketball, hockey, and many other sports. View the schedule.

T-Ball (Ages 3-7):
We cover the basics of baseball in a fun and safe environment where no one stands around. We teach throwing, catching, hitting, fielding, running the bases, and how to play the game. Games are played every week. Baseball is a continuation of the T-ball class. Children who have been in the T-ball class more than once are encouraged to take the baseball class to improve their baseball skills. Equipment: must bring own glove. Equipment: Bring own glove. Soccer (Ages 3-7):
Children learn the basics of soccer in a fun, exciting way. Dribbling, passing, and shooting are covered during fun games that keep everyone moving. This class is great for coordination and self-esteem. Levels (2-3) are based on age and whether or not the child has participated in a class before. View the schedule.

Super Sports (Ages 3-6):
We teach little super stars the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship, while attempting to spark an interest in playing a variety of sports. Sports covered will be favorites such as basketball, hockey, soccer, baseball, football and many more. View the schedule.


Hot Shot Sports

Adult/Tot Sports (Ages 2-4):
Parents are an integral part of helping their tots develop basic sports movement and motor skills. Motor skill activities focus on hand/eye and hand/foot coordination. Sports equipment and instruction are provided. Parent or caregiver participation is required. View the schedule.

Adult/Tot Movement & Tumbling (Ages 2-4):
Children are introduced to age-appropriate exercises specifically designed for balance and coordination of their large muscle groups. Through basic gymnastics and movement, participants experience their world in a whole new way and begin to understand how their bodies work. Wear loose fitting clothing and gym shoes, and be prepared to have tons of fun! Parent or caregiver participation is required. View the schedule.

Sports & More (Ages 3-5):
Children are introduced to the fundamentals of basketball, floor hockey, football, kickball, soccer, t-ball, and other sports and group games. The program provides an opportunity for each child to develop motor skills and to nurture his/her growth socially and emotionally through teamwork and good sportsmanship. View the schedule.

Lunch & Play (Ages 3-5):
Children are introduced to a variety of sports including basketball, floor hockey, football, kickball, soccer, t-ball, and other sports and group games. The goal is to provide the opportunity for each child to develop motor skills and to nurture his/her growth socially through teamwork and good sportsmanship. Children eat lunch with the coaches, and then play sports in the gym. View the schedule.

Little Dribblers (Ages 3-5):
The Lil’ Dribblers Basketball program introduces children to the game of basketball in a safe, fun and exciting environment. Our curriculum uses age-appropriate activities and games specifically designed to increase balance, body awareness, motor skills, hand/eye coordination, listening skills, and the ability to follow directions. View the schedule.


Youth Flag Football (Ages 6-10):
Participants will be taught the fundamentals of football on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball and will go through a variety of drills, games and contests to develop their skill set. Classes take place on Thursdays from 4pm-5pm. Next session begins September 13. Register today.

Parent/Tot Lakers Soccer (Ages 2-3):
This program provides the opportunity for you and your child to play soccer together. This class will work on simple motor skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting. Parents participate with their child. Each participant receives a soccer ball. If a class is cancelled, make-ups will be done at the end of each session, if possible. Classes take place on Fridays from 9am-9:45am or 9:45am-10:30am. Session begins October 19. Register today.

Little Lakers Soccer (Ages 4-6):
Introduce your little one to the world’s most popular sport. Your child will learn not only basic skills, but also a lifetime love for the game of soccer! Each participant receives a soccer ball. If a class is cancelled, make-ups will be done at the end of each session, if possible. Classes take place on Fridays from 10:45am-11:30am or 11:45am-12:30pm. Session begins October 19. Register today.

Youth Run for Fun (Ages 6-12):
An informal introduction to running for boys and girls of all fitness levels. Fun drills, games and relay races create a positive atmosphere in a non-competitive environment. Classes take place on Thursdays from 5pm-6pm. Next session begins September 13. Register today.
