Volunteer with Us!

Volunteers are essential to us. They play a vital role in the success of our programs and events. Without your help, it would be challenging to meet the needs of our community. Our volunteers generously donate their time and skills to:

  • Maintain our natural areas
  • Coach youth sports
  • Guide runners
  • Make events like Boo Bash even more special
  • And more!

Who Can Volunteer?

Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older, although age requirements may vary by program. Youth under 14 can volunteer with a parent or legal guardian.

Volunteer Inquiry Form

If you are interested in volunteering with the Park District, please fill out the form below. You will be connected with the appropriate supervisor(s) based on your indicated interests. Please note that completing a Volunteer Application is required, and some positions may also require a background check. The supervisor(s) will provide the application and additional details. 

Eagle Scout and Gold Award

Do you have an Eagle Scout or Gold Award project in mind? We invite you to contact Nathan Troia at [email protected] to discuss your ideas for the Glen Ellyn Park District. Please be prepared to share your initial concept, desired time frame, and areas of interest for our discussion.
