Sam Perry Nature Preserve Tree Work
The Park District has hired JPC Tree Care to cut and remove the dead and hazardous trees from Sam Perry Nature Preserve. Work is anticipated to start Tuesday, March 3rd.

The vast majority of the trees are large green ash trees that have died over the past three years due to Emerald Ash Borers. Of these, many are in the path of the power lines and streets. There will be some temporary street closures to allow crews to work within the roadways. A few dead elm trees will also be removed.

PTA Council Safety Fair
The PTA Council Safety Fair will take place on Saturday, March 7, 9:30 a.m. to noon at Hadley Junior High. Come with your families to participate in a safety vendor fair and interactive activities related to bike safety, water safety, village safety, first aid, and more! All District 41 families are invited!

The fair will also feature two parent break-out sessions (each offered twice, at 10 am and 11 am).  The topics are:
