Spring Fling Movie in the Park: Rio 2
Friday, April 24 at 8pm | All Ages Welcome
Bring your blanket or lawn chairs, we’re having our first Spring Fling Movie in the Park! We’re headed down to the Amazon for another adventure with everyone’s favorite macaw as we watch Rio 2.

UPDATE: This event will be held in the Main Street Recreation Center gym. The movie will begin at 8pm.


Arbor Day Tree Planting | April 24 from 6-7pm
Lend a hand this Arbor Day and help plant a few trees. With the loss of our ash trees and the need to re-establish native species in our natural areas, tree lovers of all ages can make a big difference! Location: Churchill Park


Registration Now Open for Lakers Tryouts
Tryout for the largest soccer organization in Glen Ellyn! Registration is now open for 2015-2016 Lakers Travel Soccer tryouts. All participants must register online prior to tryouts. Tryouts are a two-day process.

This year, organizations and families throughout Glen Ellyn are teaming up to help revive the drastically declining Monarch butterfly population by planting “Milkweed Waystations” throughout the community.

Construction Begins at Newton Park on 4/17
The Glen Ellyn Park District is moving forward with the construction of the new synthetic turf athletic field for Newton Park. The starting date for the first phase of this project is Friday, April 17th. Read More
