Notice of Special Meeting & Time Change
Notice is hereby given that the Glen Ellyn Park District Board of Commissioners has scheduled a Special Meeting for Tuesday, May 3rd at 6:15pm at the Lake Ellyn Boathouse, located at 645 Lenox Rd. in Glen Ellyn. The Workshop meeting scheduled for May 3rd will now begin at 7:30pm at the Spring Avenue Recreation Center.

"Trails & Trivia: Bird Edition" Starts May 2
Kids can connect with nature this summer by participating in the 2nd annual Trails & Trivia Challenge beginning May 2. This year, participants will learn all about our feathered friends while answering a few trivia questions in eight of our community parks. FREE Cardboard Boat Building Seminars
Want to build a boat for the 2016 Lake Ellyn Cardboard Regatta but aren't sure where to begin? Attend one of our free boat building seminars conducted by previous year’s Regatta champions. Of course, they won’t tell you all of their secrets, but they can help make you seaworthy! Seminars are FREE, but advance registration is required. Please call the Park District at (630) 858-2463 to register.

Summer Camps at the Glen Ellyn Park District
No matter what your kids love to do, Glen Ellyn Park District has summer camps that are sure to keep them having fun! Choose from a variety of day camps, nature camps, arts camps, athletic camps and science camps for kids ages 2.5-high school.

Newton Park Tennis Court Resurfacing
The Park District will begin resurfacing the tennis courts at Newton Park the week of May 1 (weather-permitting). The courts will be closed during the process, which is scheduled to be completed the 1st week of June. Additional tennis courts are available at Sunset Park, Village Green Park, and George Ball Park.

Lake Ellyn Storm Water Management
Improvement Program

The Village and Park District project to replace the existing
Lake Ellyn outlet control structure and perform limited dredging on the inlet side of the lake is underway. To perform the needed work, Lake Ellyn will be partially drained. Substantial completion of work is anticipated by June 1, 2016. Read more
