Tennis & Pickleball Courts

Outdoor Tennis Courts

Hardcourt tennis courts are open for public use when they are not scheduled for Park District programs or lessons. Nets are removed each winter and reinstalled in mid-March, weather permitting. Outdoor tennis court lights, where available, operate from mid-March through mid-November. Please note that the Park District does not operate any indoor tennis courts.

  • George Ball Park: 800 Elm Street
    Six tennis courts with timer-controlled lights. Courts close daily at 10 pm.
  • Sunset Park: 483 Fairview Avenue
    Two tennis courts with timer-controlled lights. Courts close daily at 10 pm.
  • Newton Park: 707 Fairview Avenue
    Two unlighted tennis courts. Courts close daily at dusk.

Outdoor Pickleball Courts

Outdoor pickleball courts are open for public use when they are not scheduled for Park District programs or lessons. Nets are removed each winter and reinstalled in mid-March, weather permitting. Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please limit play when courts are in demand as a courtesy to other players.

  • Village Green Park: 130 S. Lambert Road
    Six unlighted pickleball courts.
  • Newton Park: 707 Fairview Avenue
    The unlighted tennis courts at Newton Park are also lined for pickleball. Please note that the nets cannot be lowered.
  • George Ball Park: 800 Elm Street
    The lighted tennis courts at George Ball Park have three courts lined for pickleball. Please note that the nets cannot be lowered.
  • Ackerman Park: 800 St. Charles Road
    Four unlighted pickleball courts.

Indoor Pickleball

Drop-in for open pickleball sessions at the Ackerman SFC gymnasium. Learn more »

Clay Tennis Courts

Enjoy unlimited play on our clay courts at Lake Ellyn Park with an annual Clay Tennis Pass. Learn more »

Platform Tennis Center

The Platform Tennis Center, located at Maryknoll Park, features six courts and a hut. Membership is required for access to the courts and hut. Learn more »
