The Glen Ellyn Park District’s Finance Department has once again been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023.

This marks the 17th consecutive year the District’s report has earned the award, a tradition of excellence that began in 2008 when the District first applied. The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting, representing a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
