Experience the beauty of early fall at the Lake Ellyn 1-Mile Classic, a scenic run around picturesque Lake Ellyn Park on Sunday, September 14, 2025, with waves starting at 8 am. Open to ages 12 months and up, this family-friendly event welcomes runners of all levels. Participants ages 6 and up will complete a one-mile loop, while the Kids Dash offers a shorter 0.25-mile race along Lenox Road for ages 12 months–5 years.

Following the recent renovation of the playground at Panfish Park, community members expressed interest in having more equipment for children ages 2–5 at this site.
