Timed Activities:
• 1:15-2:15 pm: Practice yoga with Kristin Malone (bring a mat).
• 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, and 3:30 pm: Guided nature walks.
• 1:30-3:30 pm: Performances by School of Rock.
• 2:15-2:30 pm: Observe an oak tree planting demonstration
All Afternoon (1-4 pm):
• Learn recycled paper making with SCARCE.
• Watch demonstrations on how we control prescribed burns.
• Get your face painted by 2 Cute by Hand.
• Enjoy apple cider and cider donuts from Glen Ellyn Coffee Company for purchase.
• Decorate wooden bookmarks, courtesy of Glen Ellyn Public Library.
• Participate in the Oaks-are-a-Treasure Hunt.
• Challenge yourself on an acorn obstacle course.
• Try your hand at an "acorn-hole" toss.
• Unleash your creativity with a tree art project.
• Donate canned goods for Glen House Food Pantry.
• Play platform tennis with equipment and brief instruction provided (first come, first served).
• Purchase OAKtoberfest beer from Two Hound Red (21+).
