Sunset Pool

2025 Sunset Pool passes are on sale now!

Sunset Pool features a zero-depth entry, lap lanes, diving boards, thrilling slides, a children’s wading pool, and a fun play structure. Visitors can also enjoy two family restrooms, a concession stand with a variety of snacks and refreshments, shaded seating areas, and plenty of space to relax or play.

Updates to the status of Sunset Pool, such as closures due to inclement weather or maintenance, will be posted on the District’s hotline.

Sunset Pool Season Passes

Save on your season passes during the Early Bird Sale from March 1 to April 30, 2025.

To purchase passes and get your Pool Photo ID (required for pool entry), please visit any Park District Registration Office (Spring Avenue Recreation Center, Main Street Recreation Center, or Ackerman SFC) during office hours. Pool passes may also be paid for online prior to visiting the registration office to obtain your ID. Season passes are nonrefundable.

Sunset Pool Schedule

Sunset Pool is located at 483 Fairview Avenue, Glen Ellyn. A season pass, 5-visit pass, or payment of the daily admission fee is required for entry into the pool. Delayed openings and closures due to weather are posted at gepark.org/hotline.

Daily Admission Fees

Proof of residency is required to receive the resident daily admission rates. Residents must accompany guests to receive the guest admission rate. There will always be at least one lap lane available for adult lap swimming only during open swim times. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult, and any children under 3 are free.

5-Visit Passes

5-visit passes are available for purchase and can be used for open or lap swim all summer long. You can buy 5-visit passes online at gepark.org/membership or in-person at Spring Avenue Recreation Center, Main Street Recreation Center, or Ackerman SFC during registration hours. Physical membership cards are available or passholders can present a photo ID at the pool entrance for admission.

Birthday Party Packages

Host your party at Sunset Pool! For an additional charge, you can entertain your guests in the gated party spot in the concessions area. Contact Lisa Semetko at [email protected] for availability and more information.

Private Pool Rentals

Private pool rentals are perfect for picnics, neighborhood parties, birthdays, group outings, and more. The pool is available to rent from 7:30 pm to 9 pm from early June through late August. For more information and availability, please contact Lisa Semetko at [email protected].
