Summer camp is a great opportunity for kids and teenagers to explore Glen Ellyn’s natural, outdoor spaces, to make friends, and to learn new skills or practice their favorite hobbies. With more than fifty camps to choose from, it will be easy to pick a camp that your child will love. But why bother sending your kid to summer camp? Summer camp has a wide variety of benefits from fighting the boredom and monotony that are often a part of a long summer vacation to getting kids outside. In addition to summer camps, there are also camps for just about every school break!
The Glen Ellyn Park District offers engaging and enriching summer camps for kids as young as 2 ½ to kids entering grade 12. Whether your children enjoy the outdoors, love gymnastics, or prefer a sports, arts or science program, you’re sure to find something that suits their interests. For families looking for a flexible summer camp option to meet the needs of an ever-changing schedule, be sure to check out our Camp Caravan program!
