September 18, 2017 With the approaching Halloween holiday, many parents find themselves scrambling to figure out the best way to take their children trick-or-treating. Trick-or-treat time frames often begin at 3:00 or 4:00 pm, before most parents are home from work. Trick-or-treating is expected to be completed by 7:00 pm, which for many families is right in the middle of dinnertime. A better solution for children ages 2-8 is to attend the Glen Ellyn Park District’s long-standing annual Boo Bash celebration on Saturday, October 14th from 10:00 am – 11:30 am. Read More »

Owning a dog has been proven to reduce stress levels for many people, who also benefit from the love, comfort, and companionship a dog provides. Most households consider their dog to be a member of their family.
A great way to celebrate the joy that dogs bring to our lives is to join the Glen Ellyn Park District for Poochapalooza on September 23, 2017.
